Cosmogenesis week ahoy!

Myth A.
The Elder Things despised him. All around, in the very centre of everything the Old Ones scalded the newcomer, the thing of change.

-Our perfect silence is now tainted! The perfect, sublime Void is now incomplete, disfigured into this madness, this revolting, nauseating, pulsing, bleeding, moving storm of life. The single unit of Time now moves along this aberrant breathing thing. All was well and perfect and still until this savage, this demiurge, this maker came along. Let him be vanish, let him be cast into the emptiness and the blackness and the oblivion outside the realm! For this monster cannot see that something is a corruption of nothing! Let us repair the damage!

Another One spoke. They were big and terrible and beyond description. This One said:

-Silence was very clearly not perfect. If it were, where did the Maker come from? How is it that none of us foresee it? If after all we had completed the perfection of the Void, there would have been no place or time for the Maker to come from. Something must have remained, hidden, secret to us.

The Maker spoke.

-You are needed, Elder Things, seekers of the Void. You are but half of the Will, a fraction of the Will, a very small piece of a very large thing. I oppose you. You oppose me. And from that strife, both growth and decay emerge. Now you will try to return the world to what you seek, and entropy will be your avatar. I will try to render it full of life, and we will meet for the first time infinite times, and we will fight our war forever, and the stars will bear witness, and time will flow, and the world will go to one end and then the other. With new forms, new names, forever we will fight our war.

And then, again and for the first time, the world was.
